Marcel the Shell and Mona Lisa Saperstein

So someone else this week posted about Parks and Recreation and I just had to share two of the best characters of the whole show. Seriously though they need to put these two in like every episode! It's Jean-Ralphio and Mona Lisa Saperstein. Do you guys remember the girl who voiced Marcel the Shell? Well she plays Mona Lisa and does so flawlessly. I cannot even tell you how much material goes down in like 10 seconds of dialogue with these two...So freakin' hilarious! You'll see:
I can no longer say something is "the worst" without breaking out this song...

Oh Scotty...

So I am a total country music girl. I'm from the Midwest so it is just a part of my soul. Anytime I hear a country song I am instantly happier....and of course it gives me personal identity and all those other things we were just tested on during our midterm....(see I learned stuff!). But that's not what I wanted to talk about today. I have this habit where I hear a new song and it becomes my favorite so I listen to it on repeat like a thousand times nonstop until I hear my next new favorite. So currently I am in love with Scotty McCreery's new song See you Tonight. It's so good so I decided to share it with all of you:) OH...and he started on American Idol, a competitive reality show which we talked about yesterday. Look at how much I am learning and applying media in this blog....Anyway on to the good stuff:

And Jimmy Fallon takes the stage!

So apparently this did not post when I hit the button last week so this was supposed to be last week's entry but anyway, oh well, here it is:

So Jimmy Fallon took over the Tonight show this week: YAY!!! I love him! I think he is hilarious and awesome. So to start it off right he had all sorts of guest stars like Will Smith,  Michelle Obama, and the one and only J.T.(Justin Timberlake for those who don't know). These guys have the best bromance and they are super funny and attractive, all bonuses:) But all the stars came out for his $100 bet....I know it is kind of long but here is his little welcoming skit to the show. P.S. hold out because the ending is by far the best part!!!!

Frozen: As sung by Christina, Julie, Barbara, etc...

So I am just as obsessed with Frozen as almost every other person out there right now but I saw this and had to share. She sings Let it Go in all different voices and is actually crazy talented...and hilarious! Follow the link to buzzfeed (where hours of my day seem to disappear) and see what I'm talking about...

Psych: You will be missed...

So this is a sad blog entry. Networks have recently announced shows that have been canceled and renewed and after 8 hilarious and brilliant seasons, USA's Psych will air its finale in March. I cannot even tell you how sad and mad this makes me. It was the funniest show ever and I do not want this to be the end. The writers were so clever and it was perfectly cast, I don't even know what to do now that it is ending. Psych is one of those shows where I never miss an episode because it is just that good! So in honor of one of the greatest bromances (possibly better than Cory and Shawn) I leave you with some hilarious scenes from the show. To Shawn and Gus, please don't be the end:
Gus. You can't not love him. He's just amazing with his black amazing head of greatness and the super sniffer is a whole new level of great

The Psych promo where Shawn steals a donut from the dead guy...and Shawn complains every time Gus eats something around a dead person and/or ill person in a hospital.
John Jacob jingle heimer Schmidt that is my name too, whenever I go out the people always shout, John Jacob jingle heimer Schmidt da da da dada dada .
Psych Theme Song. Did you sing it too?
Okay so I may have gone a little overboard but it's just so funny! I could literally fill 20 pages with this stuff...I just love it so insanely much. It is just the best and should be on for forever...

To be Social or not to be Social....?

So I'm pretty sure Kindle is the worst thing ever invented for a girl like me. It's a Saturday night and I am single I should be out being social, meeting new people, etc, etc...but what am I doing instead? Thinking, well I could go out and be with people...OR I could buy a new book on Kindle!:) See whereas before I would have to actually order and wait for the book to come now it is instantly in my hands and I can start reading, like tonight! Yeah...I'm probably never gonna get married, but hey boys are better in books anyway right?!...

Instagram!

Okay I know I am so lame and should have joined forever ago but I finally took the plunge and joined Instagram last night:) AND I already love it. The thing I hate about Facebook is having to go through all the stupid statuses, linked articles, invites, etc. by people I don't really care about, but this is just pictures and a little caption plus it's only the people I want to follow! It's official I am obsessed...

Super Bowl Post...of course.

So it seems the Super Bowl is upon us once again. As someone who does not really follow football, I usually resort to eavesdropping and stealing others' thoughts and predictions and repeating them  in conversations so it looks like I know what I am talking about. Don't get me wrong, I find football somewhat entertaining and can appreciate a really good play but I do not know stats, names, and other football-ey type things. Just the basics. I'm usually the one annoying all the guys around by commenting on the either awesome or stupid choice of color for a certain teams uniform and how player 61 fills out those pants very nicely...So while we are all preparing our Super Bowl themed snacks and warming up our voices to belt it out with Bruno I invite you to take a look back at one of the best Super Bowl pranks from Jimmy Kimmel. Nothing brings families together quite like turning off the t.v....
So great! Alright now go enjoy the game. May the referees always be fair, the food taste delicious, and the commercials be funny!
