Missrepresentation and Colbert
Okay so after watching the video this week my friend asks me if I have seen the Colbert Report episode where Bill O' Reilly talks about the downside to there being a woman president. I was like this is EXACTLY what we talked about in class! In case you haven't seen it here is the link: http://www.hulu.com/watch/604921#i1,p5,d1 Needless to say I was just shocked and disgusted. I am not an extreme feminist but this was just like "are you kidding me Bill?!" The documentary this week really opened my eyes to how we see women in the media and I was so offended. When I saw this clip it just reinforced how prevalent this issue really is.

It is horrifying that people can get away with talking about women in that way, just because they are women! And how often does it happen and we do not even notice? This issue really is a problem!
